## Caption

I’m so honored to be the recipient of the Professional Photographer Achievement Award presented by the International Photographic Council at the United Nations. IPC is a Civil Society Organization formally associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications. At the Hall of Fame Awards, in front of my family, truly distinguished peers and industry leaders they said very kind things about me and my work, put a medal around my neck and shook my hand. I’m just wrapping my head around it now. If you want to see the award presented, swipe for the video (featuring my mom in the blue jacket in the foreground, kvelling).
The IPC’s motto is “Peace Through Photography” and that just couldn’t be more poignant now. #honorofalifetime #grateful #lifeofaphotographer #peacethroughphotography #evanjosephphoto
