One of the hardest lessons to learn in life , and in business…..

especially if you’re building something meaningful to serve others and not just yourself….

Your light, your joy, your energy, your success will always irritate the instigators. 

And the craziest part is they will instigate the aggravation all while you are just over there minding your own business!! 😂🤨

Here’s the hard lesson we have to learn….

Don’t take the bait. 

That’s what they want. 

You see secretly they are seeking negative attention in an effort to distract you from what you are positively building! 

Your gifts, your joy, your confidence in yourself, and most importantly your assignment, will always irritate the instigators because something deeper inside them knows they need to be better, do better, build better.

Here’s what I’ve learned. 
Change requires work. 
The kind of work that most instigators aren’t willing to do. 

I’m not talking about work work… I’m talking about the personal work required to go to the next level….. 
and each new level begins with self awareness. 

Lack of self awareness simply causes confusion, distraction, disruption. 

It destroys instead of builds.

So if you are making the mistake of taking the bait… become aware of WHY they may be choosing to instigate the aggravation in the first place. 

It might be a random stranger on social media who leaves a negative comment or someone you know behaving like one.

Then ask yourself “what am I supposed to be learning?” 🤔 

Recognize the reason for their attempt to throw you off your assignment and then mind your business. Get back to your assignment… the one God called you to build. 

Don’t take the bait. 

Instead… smile & keep it movin’ 😁✌️💃🏻

Surround yourself with those who are putting in the work and building better too! 

You will save yourself time, energy and unnecessary aggravation.
