It would be easy for him to say that their new album settles all of those queries, but he’s too compulsively truthful for that.

“I’m still really confused,” he tells Rolling Stone, “and that’s what we figured out after the military.” He thought maybe there’d be “some precise, sharp consensus that we could all relate to, which was not very true.” So the picture is “still blurry,” he adds, but “these 14 tracks could be an answer to the people wondering, ‘What is BTS in 2026?’”
