We just learned from fenitas.nl , the smoothie king, that the key to thick smoothies is using frozen bananas but letting them sit out of th freezer for 15 minutes BEFORE blending them! Genius! Plus blue spirulina fo a burst of color and pomegranate seeds for a sweet crunch, these were wesome!

Ingredients:
•	3 ripe bananas, sliced into 1-inch pieces
•	2 tbsp coconut water
•	1 heaping tsp blue spirulina microingredients_official
• 1 tspn dried dragonfruit powder (opt)
•	1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (plus extra for topping)
•	1 cup chocolate chips
•	1–2 tsp coconut oil

Instructions:
1.	Place banana slices on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for about 45 minutes, until solid.
2.	Let bananas sit at room temp for 10–15 minutes to soften slightly.
3.	Blend bananas with coconut water until thick and creamy. Add blue spirulina and blend until smooth.
4.	Fold in pomegranate seeds. Scoop small mounds onto parchment paper.
5.	Freeze again until firm (about 30–45 minutes).
6.	Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave (20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth).
7.	Dip frozen mounds into melted chocolate, place back on parchment, and sprinkle extra pomegranate seeds on top.
8.	Freeze until the chocolate shell hardens (about 10–15 minutes). vitamix
