In honor of Donate Life Month, we raised the Donate Life flag outside Westchester Medical Center. 
 
Standing with us was Jennifer Dering, a heart transplant recipient at WMCHealth, who spoke to what it means to get a second chance at life.
 
One donor can save up to 8 lives. Right now, more than 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting.
