Public input is now open for Greening the Golden State: Urban Forest Canopy Plan for California — a statewide strategic plan to expand urban tree canopy 10% by 2035. 

This effort will improve climate resilience and strengthen community health and quality of life. The public comment session will close April 30, 2026.
