Powerlines across the road are not debris — they may still be energized. Always assume they are live wires. Driving over them can cause serious injury or death.
If you see a powerline on the road:
• Do NOT drive over it
• Call 911 immediately
• Stop at a safe distance
• Turn around if possible and travel a different route
