An American guest at a giraffe manor outside Nairobi was attacked during the night, resulting in the loss of his foot.

The victim reported a giraffe with arachnid-like traits gained access through an open window.

Strangely, the man had participated in a giraffe hunt earlier that day. 

Lodge staff said had they known the guest was a hunter, he would not have been welcomed.
