“Hello everyone, my name is Shane, I’m 21 years old and from Port Neches, Texas. I marched with the Blue Knights in 2018 and 2019 as well as the Colts in 2017. This upcoming indoor season will be my 5th year (non-guaranteed) with Monarch Independent! Outside of Drum Corps and WGI I am a full-time student at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas studying Music Education. I am also very active outside of my required studies. I do a lot of teaching at the high school level whether it be with the marching band or private lessons. I also have some awesome performances coming up including being a performer with the Collegiate All-Star PASIC Percussion Ensemble. Now that I’ve introduced myself, I can’t wait to bring you with me to the first round of auditions here at Monarch Independent!”⠀

Auditions are wrapping up for world class ensemble across the nation! Monarch will be hosting their auditions this Sunday! Can’t wait to see what’s in store!
