#ALDIPartner the perfect summer salmon burgers to switch things up this year – and using all things found aldiusa 🐡 

ALDI is THE place for high-quality products at unbeatable prices –  how fabulous is that !! recipe below! 

salmon burgers:

- 2 lbs ALDI Fresh Never Frozen Atlantic Salmon Portion, skin removed
- 3 scallions, finely chopped
- 2 lemons
- 1.5 tsp Burman’s Dijon Mustard
- 3 garlic cloves, grated 
- 1 tsp dried oregano 
- 1 tsp paprika 
- 2 tsp salt, separated
- 1 cup breadcrumbs, panko or italian
- freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- 5 Specially Selected Brioche Hamburger Buns

cucumber cabbage slaw:

- 1/2 head medium green cabbage, shredded
- 2 Mini Cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped
- 1 lime 
- 2 tbsp Specially Selected Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Tuscan Garden White Vinegar 
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- salt + freshly cracked black pepper to taste

tartar sauce:

- 1.5 tbsp Specially Selected Cornichons, minced
- 1/2 cup Burman’s Mayo 
- 1.5 tbsp fresh parsley, minced 
- 1/2 lemon zested and juiced 
- salt and pepper to taste 

1. For the salmon burgers: mince the salmon into very small pieces, until paste-like. Add to a medium bowl with the remaining ingredients, mixing for a few minutes until fully incorporated and sticky. form 1/2 cup mounds, lightly patting them into patties with oiled hands, smoothing the sides. you should get about 5 burgers. 

2. Heat a medium pan over medium high heat with a generous amount of oil. cook the patties, undisturbed for 4-5 min until browned, then flip and cook on the other side for 3-4 minutes. check for an internal temperature of 145F. Once done, toast the buns lightly inside the pan.

3. For the tartar sauce: mix all ingredients in a small bowl and let sit for 15 minutes before using. 

4. For the slaw: mix all the ingredients together in a medium bowl, tossing to combine. taste for salt and pepper. 

5. To assemble: spread tartar sauce on the bottom of a bun, top with the salmon burger, then a heaping mound of the slaw, followed by more tartar sauce and finally the bun. serve with a lemon wedge on the side and chippies! enjoy :)
