Chicago Dutch Lions FC are proud to announce the signing of Gijs van Eif for the upcoming USL League Two season 🦁⚽️

The Dutch striker joins the club from Georgian Court University, where he has established himself as one of the most dangerous attacking players in NCAA Division II. Known for his consistent goal-scoring ability, Gijs combines physical presence with intelligent movement and a natural instinct in front of goal.

Developed in the professional academy of De Graafschap, Gijs has competed against top Dutch sides such as Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord — gaining valuable experience at an elite level from a young age.

At 6’2”, he brings strength, aerial dominance, and relentless work rate, making him a constant threat in the final third. 

We’re excited to add firepower to our squad and can’t wait to see Gijs make his mark this season.
