Welcome to a new round of Funny Feet Facts.
I’m Markus M. Mey, author of the book “Am I Normal?” — available on Amazon.
Okay guys, you’ve probably all heard this before. A few days ago, I heard someone in a podcast clip — I think it was a rapper, not totally sure — say:
‘I just don’t get the whole feet thing! Why are so many men into that? I just don’t understand it!’
And I was like… here we go again — this misunderstanding!
So let me jump in real quick:
Usually, we can only understand things that are kind of logical. Like, 1 + 1 equals 2. Or things that make sense — like, if you put your hand in fire, you’ll get burned. That’s all understandable.
But it gets tricky when we’re talking about feelings.
So at this point I usually ask: okay, what’s your favorite food?
And they might say something like: LI-kuh-risch.
Then I ask: but why? Because it’s black? Because it’s bitter?
And they say: no… just because it tastes the way it tastes.
Exactly. But that wasn’t my question. I wanted to understand why you like that taste.
So I tell them: if you can explain why you like what you like — then you’ve also got your answer to why some men are into feet.
Because explaining feelings is hard. Most of the time, they’re not logical — they come from deep in our subconscious.
I don’t even want to start asking about LOVE.
