Dwayne was in love with the new grill on his custom 2022 GMC Yukon Denali. 

The grill -- like the rest of the chrome pieces on the SUV -- was put through our chrome delete process and given a new color: Gun Metal Gray. 

"We wanted to kill the chrome but wanted something to make it pop so the whole vehicle wasn't totally black," he said.

Here's the FULL BREAKDOWN of Dwayne's Customization 

FULL CHROME DELETE 
Dwayne really wanted his GMC Yukon Denali's chrome delete to "pop." While a Blacked Out GMC Yukon certainly looks cool, Dwayne wanted to go in a slightly different direction. 

While most of the chrome delete was kept monochromatic, the Dave Sinclair Customs paint team delivered a coat of Gun Metal Gray to: 

— The Grill
— BOTH GMC Emblems 
— The Model and Trim Decals 

The emblems are unique as they have inverted primary and secondary set ups. The front emblem has Gun Metal Gray as the primary color and Black as the secondary while the back emblem received the opposite. 

Dave Sinclair Customs uses mostly paint on chrome deletes. Vinyl wrap is only used on running boards and window trimming. Although, we will also apply a wrap anywhere a customer requests (such as hoods, roofs, etc.). 

WHEELS & TIRES
Dwayne's Yukon Denali kept its original factory wheels. But they were powder-coated black and given custom center caps and lugnuts. Looking closely, you'll see the center caps feature a GMC logo in Gun Metal Gray trim. 

The tires are the Ridge Grapplers from NITTO and the tires stood around 33 inches in size. We do not install lifts, levels, etc., on the new Yukon Denalis' and there is no rubbing. 

Looking through the wheel, you'll notice the brake calipers received a few coats of red paint to really make them pop. 

TINTING
The front windows received a slight tint to match the rear windows and the rear windshield received a 5% tint. The turn indicators found on the driver and passenger side mirrors also received a tint.
