Laundry at my house isn’t a chore… it’s a life skill 😅

My kids swear I’m running a full-service hotel until I remind them:
this ain’t the Hilton, it’s character development.

You wore it, you sort it.
You stained it, you scrub it.
You need it for tomorrow? better learn today.

Because one day I won’t be there separating colors, checking pockets, or rewashing that one shirt that “still smells weird.”

And I refuse to raise adults who think laundry magically gets done by “mom.”

So yes… I make my kids do their own laundry.
Not because I’m mean…
but because I’m raising independent, capable humans who won’t call me at 25 asking how to work a washing machine 🧺✨
