Here's another nice-looking card featuring Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers from the newly released @upperdecksports 2020/21 UD Series 2 hockey cards - Canvas insert subset.

These type of photos are very hard to get as the dressing room is considered sacred ground in the sports world. In fact, most professional teams have restrictions on the type of photos that can be taken in the dressing room.

Fortunately, on special occasions the Jets would grant me special access to document certain moments. This means you come in, do your shot, and move out. I've started carrying a portable lighting system consisting of a light stand, portable strobe, and umbrella. The entire flash unit can collapse in a matter of seconds. It's a little more gear to carry to the game, but the photo quality is unmatched compared to stand photo gear.

To see this image become a hockey card makes it all worth while. 😎
