In Episode 5 of Moose Moments we look back on a nice goal celly by Kristian Reichel against the Chicago Wolves.

I love shooting from between the benches because you have incredible access to both ends of the ice. You can hear the players communicate, anticipate the plays, and capture some great moments. In this goal celebration, Kristian shot the puck from the point and skated backwards with his arms in the air. It was a beautiful celly as his teammates moved in, but I almost didn't get the shot because I shoot with a 100-400mm lens and I was already pulled back as far as I could go. Fortunately, it worked out and we had a great photo. All-in-all the framing of the image in your camera's viewfinder during this fast-paced game is probably one of the more difficult challenges a hockey photographer must deal with.
