Let me simplify this for you.
Hi, this is Chandralekha and I love talking about money!

💡 What changed
👉 Many common tax documents now have new form numbers from FY 2026–27
👉 Form 26AS + AIS is now officially Form 168
👉 Form 16 becomes Form 130
👉 Form 12BA becomes Form 123
👉 Form 12BB becomes Form 124
👉 Form 15G/15H merged into Form 121

💡 What these forms actually do
👉 AIS + 26AS → Shows ALL your financial data (TDS, salary, interest, investments)
👉 Form 16 → Your salary + TDS summary from employer
👉 Form 12BA → Perks like car, ESOPs, housing (adds to taxable income)
👉 Form 12BB → Declarations to reduce TDS (HRA, 80C, etc.)
👉 Form 15G/15H → Stop TDS on FD if eligible

💡 Why this matters
👉 Wrong/missing forms = wrong ITR
👉 AIS mismatches can trigger notices
👉 Many people don’t cross-check AIS before filing
👉 Most people don’t even know these names changed 👀

👉 Always check AIS + Form 16 together before filing
