It takes a village to host 150+ women inside one of New York City’s most iconic skyscrapers.

Before anyone walked into Hearst Tower on April 8th, there were people who gave their time, traveled across the country, and stayed until midnight the night before to make sure every detail was right.

Our community partners girlsintovc and joinfoundess tapped into their networks to help us find the incredible builders who participated. sarah.r.phillips, CEO of Girls Into VC, and audreykchan_, COO of Foundess, both volunteered the entire day on logistics from morning to close.

lauragarciaaa and elizabeth___hong, a former AI for Social Good Hackathon winner volunteered to greet every builder that morning and assisted with daytime logistics throughout the hackathon. 

paigefinneyy and my twin sister iamangelachapman greeted every single guest arriving for the evening presentations and ushered them into the theatre.

mariaeberhardt and samairabanga traveled from Boston to volunteer. They led our social content capture and made sure every attendee’s gifting was prepared.

jamessomani and brenhey flew with me from San Francisco. 

The night before, a few of us were inside Hearst Tower until midnight setting up design elements and preparing for the day ahead.

None of this happens without these people.
