Hot Honey Sriracha Chicken Bowl 🔥

This quick & simple meal mixes the sweet with the savory in a perfectly balanced dish guaranteed to spice up your weeknight recipe repertoire. 

Featuring crispy bite-sized fried chicken coated in siracha and Mike’s Hot Honey glaze, served over a bed of warm rice and topped with some fresh scallions - it’s the coziest finish to any day. 

Ingredients:

Chicken:

1 lb boneless chicken (cut into bite-size pieces)

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

1 egg

Coating:

½ cup cornstarch

¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp salt

For frying:

Oil for frying

Hot Honey Sriracha Glaze:

3–4 tbsp hot honey

1½ tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice level)

1 tbsp soy sauce

For serving:

Steamed rice

Sesame seeds

Chopped green onions

Chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Add the egg and mix until everything is well coated.

In a separate bowl, mix together cornstarch, flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, pressing to create a textured coating.

Heat oil over medium heat and fry the chicken in batches until golden, crispy, and fully cooked. Remove and let it rest.

In a pan, melt butter and stir in hot honey, sriracha, and soy sauce. Let it bubble slightly until smooth and glossy.

Add the crispy chicken and toss gently until evenly coated in the sticky glaze.

Serve over warm rice and finish with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, and chili flakes if desired.
