LIONS TOP LANCERS: The JSerra Boys Tennis team took another step toward its’ fourth straight Trinity League title on Thursday, as the Lions defeated the Orange Lutheran Lancers 13-5 at the Anaheim Tennis Center in Anaheim.

The Lions improved to 18-1 overall and 8-0 in league.

Senior Cade Faul teamed with his brother Connor Faul for wins of 6-2 and 6-0, before joining forces with senior Tom Gormley for a 6-0 win.

Senior HB Warner and junior Robert Thornton picked up triumphs of 6-0 and 6-0.

Senior Emilio Salgado and junior Enzo Biundo produced a 6-1 win, while junior Omar Ali and sophomore Leo Salgado turned in a 6-0 victory in their lone set.

Freshman Aidan Andren (6-2, 6-0), senior Jacob Lebrun (6-1, 6-0), and sophomore Rafael Shaikh (6-1, 6-0) spearheaded the Lions’ effort in singles action.

JSerra can officially clinch the league title on its’ home court next Tuesday with a win over second place Mater Dei.
