In 2023, he went viral after a video showed him running down the street crying tears of joy when he found out he had been accepted to Morehouse College. The emotional moment quickly spread across social media and even landed him on national news.

Soon after, we exclusively shared the moment he received even bigger news, a full-ride scholarship through the Bonner Scholars program, which covers his tuition and focuses on community service leadership. Now, just a few years later, Amir has reached another milestone and has been elected as the 2nd official Mister Morehouse! The university just recently established the title!
