Starting from today, April 13th, registrations are open on miumiu.com for Miu Miu Literary Club 2026 - “Politics of Desire”, a three-day event from April 22nd - 24th at Circolo Filologico in Milan.
Now in its fourth iteration, this year’s event explores a discourse on sexuality, desire and consent through the work of two highly revered and distinct authors Annie Ernaux and Ama Ata Aidoo, alongside conversations, live music performances and prose and poetry readings, further exploring Miu Miu’s ongoing relationship with contemporary culture.

April 22nd
12PM – Annie Ernaux: A Girl’s Story. A conversation between Annabelle Hirsch, Lea Melandri and Megan Nolan, moderated by Lou Stoppard - by invitation only.
From 1PM to 4PM – Prose and poetry readings and live music performances by international artists.
4PM – Lecture by Olga Goriunova: Desire After AI. Introduced by Jennifer Guerra.
4:30PM to 8PM: Live music performances by international artists.

April 23rd
12PM – Ama Ata Aidoo: Changes: A Love Story. A conversation between  Francesca Marciano, Wayétu Moore and Gloria Wekker, moderated by Nadia Beard - by invitation only.
From 1PM to 4PM – Prose and poetry readings and live music performances by international artists.
4PM: Lecture by Katherine Angel: How Do We Talk About Consent? Introduced by Elisa Cuter.
4:30PM to 8PM: Live music performances by international artists.

April 24th
11:30AM to 7PM: Circolo Filologico will be open to the public and visitors can pass by and read or explore the selection of books from the library curated by Rosi Braidotti.

Curated by writer and researcher of Italian culture, language and literature Olga Campofreda (thecoldfield) in collaboration with feminist philosopher Rosi Braidotti (rosibraidottiofficial).
