There was a moment when I realized that pretty much everything I did was for someone else, whether it be my kids, my home, or my work. While I love all of those things deeply… I needed something that was just mine. So I went out on a limb and picked up tennis with very few expectations. I was just happy to have something to get me out of the house and back into me.

I’ve taken lessons on and off (because… life 😅),
had months where I was super consistent and months where I wasn’t… And today, I finally played my first “real” (as in competitive for an actual tournament team) doubles match 🥹

Was I perfect? Not even close. Were my serves hot garbage? YEP 😂 But I stuck with it. I showed up. I had fun. I followed through. And to me,  that means everything.

So if you’ve been thinking about starting something new this is your sign. Go for it. You won’t regret it.
