As an official partner of the James Beard Foundation’s advocacy, sustainability, and community programs, Chef Works joined the 28th Chef Bootcamp for Policy and Change® at Carnation Farms in Carnation, Washington.

This impactful program brings together chefs dedicated to advocacy, sustainability, and food system change—empowering them to become stronger, more informed advocates through immersive policy and media training, collaborative cooking, and hands-on learning.

Each Bootcamp includes:
• A diverse group of around 17 chefs
• Deep dives into critical issues like the Farm Bill and sustainable seafood
• Media and policy training from industry experts
• Experiential learning with local farms, fisheries, and producers
• A collaborative dinner that brings the mission to life
• Strategy sessions focused on action and impact

For nearly 13 years, the James Beard Foundation has trained and inspired culinary leaders from across the country to mobilize in support of a better, more equitable food system.
