Five days out from our 35th b’Earthday, we’re closing out these lookbacks that began in March with five more musical moments that have stayed with us, including one from SteveEarle.

A cornerstone of American songwriting, Steve cut his teeth in Nashville, broke through with Guitar Town in 1986 and never stopped telling the hard truths, whether through country, rock or folk.

Here he is in 2015, performing the title track to that great album, from one of nine appearances on eTown. We’re pretty lucky to have had him roll through town time and time again. #eTown #eTown35
