There is something happening right now that I believe history will look back on as a turning point.

I say that not as a football player — but as a man who was just in a room, and walked out changed.

We live in a moment where the loudest voices are telling us that America is broken. That we are too divided. That our problems are too deep for ordinary people to solve. I won’t pretend that weight isn’t real. We all feel it.

But I know what I witnessed at Year 3 of the Players Summit inside the standtogether community. And what I witnessed was not broken. What I witnessed was alive.

Athletes from across this country gathered — not to be celebrated, but to be equipped. Not to be seen, but to serve. What was waiting for them was a community, a calling, and a clarity that most people spend a lifetime searching for.

What Stand Together has built is a Philanthropic Locker Room. A place where athletes are poured into as human beings first — guided toward where they truly want to leave their mark, mentored by some of the greatest leaders and entrepreneurs of this generation, and anchored in an identity that no amount of fame or pressure can move.

When you combine that investment with the influence and reach athletes carry — impact accelerates. Communities transform. Hope becomes visible again.

My Cause My Cleats 2026 gave the country a glimpse. Every cleat told a story connected to a real family, a real neighborhood, a real life being changed. That was not a campaign. That was a quiet announcement that something much larger is already in motion.

And we are only in the beginning.

The goal was never to make athletes the answer to America’s problems. The goal is to use the platform athletes carry to remind every American that they are the answer. That the power to heal our communities doesn’t live in Washington — it lives in us.

Be the People.

Not a rallying cry. A responsibility. A reminder that the most important story being written in America right now is being written by ordinary people who decided to stop waiting — and start building.
