An unforgettable year at the Varsity Teams Colour Awards. Celebrating an outstanding season!

Women’s rowing captured both OUA and national titles, while men’s rowing added an OUA bronze. Women’s and Men’s cross country swept OUA banners, with the men repeating as OUA and national champions. Track standout performances, including national gold from Jude Wheeler-Dee, continued that momentum.

On the court and field: women’s rugby extended their undefeated run with another OUA title, men’s volleyball went back-to-back as Forsyth Cup champions, and football reclaimed the Yates Cup. Women’s basketball dominated by winning 17 consecutive regular season games, while men’s basketball secured the win on 14 of their 16 regular season games. 

On the ice, men’s hockey battled to nationals and women’s hockey topped the OUA East. Soccer saw women post one of the best records in the OUA and men finishing with a winning record and returning to playoffs. Women’s volleyball closed the season on a nine-game win streak, and men’s rugby earned OUA silver and a national championship berth.

But what defines this group goes beyond the podium. Showing up in the community, leading with purpose, and making a real impact off the field.

More than wins. More than banners. This is what it means to wear the tricolour. 🏆
