Meet Avery and Alice! 

Avery PC ‘23 - “Coming to Mizzou from out of state without knowing a single person, I was so worried about finding close friends. Luckily, through Kappa, I met my best friend, Alice! From being in the same Pi Chi group to becoming incoming seniors, our friendship has grown so much over the past few years.
I’m so grateful for a friend I can do anything with whether it’s a random side quest or heading to our favorite coffee shops to study, Alice is always there. It’s so important to have a friend who makes you laugh but is also there when you truly need support, and that is exactly what Alice is to me. Thinking about graduating next year makes me so sad, but I’m forever grateful for Kappa, all the amazing memories I’ve made, and especially for my Al Pal!”

Alice PC ‘23 - “When I first came to Mizzou, I met Avery in my Pi Chi group during recruitment. On bid day, when we both ran back to Kappa, I knew we’d click from day one. Avery’s humorous personality and positive attitude made it so easy for us to become best friends, and she was exactly what I needed when starting college at such a big school. Now, with 3+ years of friendship under our belt, I know I can always count on her to be there for me whenever I need her. From being the best walking partner to the kind of friend who always shows up, I’m so thankful Kappa and Mizzou brought us together. Going into senior year, I can’t wait to create more bizarre inside jokes and make even more memories together, and I really hope everyone finds their own “Avery” someday, because I know how lucky I am that I found mine!”
