Smith Rock features 12 official trails, ranging from strenuous climbs like Misery Ridge to more accessible routes like the Rim Rock Trail, which offers sweeping views with far less elevation gain. Along the way, spring blossoms bring bursts of color that contrast the rugged terrain. Bright yellow balsamroot, vivid red paintbrush, delicate phlox and desert parsley decorate the pathways.
