Here's the thing about the Mk7 R: it was already underpriced when it was new. A 292hp turbo four with Haldex AWD, a refined interior that didn't scream "boy racer," and a chassis that could embarrass cars costing twice as much on a back road. Now that clean examples are settling into the $25-32K range, the math is almost stupid good.
