UPDATE: A 16-year-old is dead and another hospitalized after they were shot while at a bus stop outside of a YMCA and high school in Chicago on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Around 3:23 p.m., a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were standing outside at a bus stop on the 6300 block of South Stony Island Avenue when an unidentified suspect pulled out a gun and fired shots at both of the teens, authorities said.⁠
