## Caption

In April 2024, Harmony was hit by two major storms in one week. The storms pushed the Connoquenessing Creek flood stage to 14 feet, which forced Union Brothers Brewing in one of the lowest-lying areas along the creek corridor to close for two days. 

Home and business owners are optimistic the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh said conditions that can contribute to severe flooding are largely absent this spring, and a flood mitigation project in Harmony is about halfway finished.
