Yankees Hall of Fame closer Mariano Rivera appears to have gotten the best of Ichiro again.

During the unveiling of the Hall of Fame outfielder's statue outside Seattle's T-Mobile Park, there was an error that might not show up in the boxscore: As the curtain covering the bronze statue was pulled down, and so too went the bat.

The statue of Ichiro was left holding a bat handle, with the barrel of the bat having been sawed off — this time by a miscue, not a Rivera cutter.
