This summer, our Action Grants support literacy projects that go beyond expanding book access, and cultivate a shared culture of reading for Oakland youth (ages 0-18). ☀️📚

We welcome applications from individual literacy champions, community organizations, faith-based groups, and cultural collectives who weave reading as a shared social activity into their work with Oakland youth. 📖 ❤️
