I used to think "Family Friendly" was just code for "Luxury Ends Here" -- it felt like once you had children in tow, you had to trade chic infinity pools for plastic pool chairs and mediocre buffets. 

I thought my days of five-star service and elevated design were on pause for the next few years while Santi was still small.
