Coming off a breakthrough win in Aspen, Sara Shimizu arrived at LAAX as one of the most in-form riders in the field and quickly proved it. On Qualifying Day, she delivered a 91.50 to sit among the top qualifiers heading into Finals Day.

From there, she rode with confidence in each round, navigating the head-to-head format with precision and continuing to stand out against a field of the best in the world.

When deteriorating conditions forced an early end to competition, results were taken from the last completed round, where Shimizu had already advanced and put down the highest single-run score of 95.75.

Sara set the standard from start to finish and ended the weekend on the top of the podium.
