Writing this caption and posting this carousel is uncomfortable btw

At my big age I really thought I had a consistency problem.

Like genuinely.
Start strong → fall off → feel bad → reset → repeat.

And I would call it discipline.
Or lack of it.

But a conversation with my coach cassandrapickettcoaching (and our GYG group) + Darryl kinda sat me down (lovingly lol) and made me realize something I couldn’t unsee…

I don’t fully trust myself.

And if I’m being real… that makes sense.😭😭😭

Because how do you trust someone
who keeps abandoning you mid-plan? Just because I’ve experienced abandonment throughout my life, doesn’t mean I have to do it to myself. 

Saying yes when you mean no.
Overcommitting.
Starting things you don’t finish.
Breaking promises to yourself like it’s casual.

At some point, your brain just goes:
“yeah… we don’t believe her anymore.”

And here’s where it got me…

I thought I was “waiting on God.”

But really?
I was waiting for certainty.
Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting to NOT MESS IT ALL UP.

Meanwhile… God already gave me enough to move.

So now I’m not chasing discipline anymore.

I’m practicing self-trust.

Which right now looks like:
keeping small promises
checking in before I commit
moving even when I feel a little unsure (like this post omg)
and not spiraling when I miss a step

because consistency?

it might not be a strategy problem.

it might be a trust problem.

lowkey about to start documenting me practicing radical self-trust in real time because… yeah 😭
