A 20 y/o was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after being st*bbed in the armpit earlier tonight‼️😨

A 20-year-old man was left seriously injured after a st*bbing near Daly Avenue and Waller Street in downtown Ottawa on Sunday evening.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 7:45 PM, where the victim was found with a knife injury to his left armpit. He was rushed to hospital in serious but stable condition, with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

Police say there is currently no risk to the public, and no arrests have been made at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.

This marks another violent incident in the downtown core as authorities continue to monitor the situation.
