I’m feeling better and stronger every day, but the past week was such a powerful reminder that pregnancy is not a neutral state: it can be a life-threatening condition, and the risks don’t necessarily end after a safe / successful delivery. Grateful that I got to the ER when I did, grateful to my medical team and family, and SO grateful for the help pumping so that I could keep my supply up. I was fully prepared to switch to formula if needed but it’s amazing to have somehow been able to sustain enough supply & consistent pumping through the hospital stay to be able to continue. So, so glad to be able to recover at home and focus on newborn life. 🤍
