This week is National Infertility Awareness Week. And for us, it’s deeply personal.

Every one of our children exists because we had access to fertility education, options, and support as an LGBTQ+ couple.

But here’s the reality…

According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 6 people globally are impacted by infertility,
and many still don’t have access to the care or benefits they need.

Infertility doesn’t discriminate.
Not by gender.
Not by race.
Not by orientation.

And no two paths to parenthood look the same.

For LGBTQ+ families, single parents by choice, and so many others, the journey can be even more complex without the right support.

And yet, fertility care is still often treated as optional instead of what it actually is — medically necessary for a real and deeply human experience.

The good news? Change often starts with one conversation.

In fact, 64% of companies that now offer fertility benefits did so because an employee asked.

And 79% of LGBTQ+ individuals planning to build a family would consider leaving their employer for one that offers fertility benefits.

That’s not just a statistic. That’s real people trying to build real families.
