Today in Uruguay, almost all the electricity is produced using free energy like sun, wind, water, biomass waste. ⁣
⁣
So we absolutely have had no impact at all, of what is happening in the world, not only this, but in general, all kinds of geopolitical effects. ⁣

“We have a stable price of electricity,” he says. ⁣
⁣
“We have no affordability [issues], no security of supply [concerns]. And this is perhaps one of the most interesting lessons learned for Global South countries.”⁣
