Today was about the women who built this team, paved the way, and inspired generations. It's about giving them their flowers!! Figuratively and literally!!

Since 1997, the New York Liberty have been more than a team! They have been trailblazers!! Legends like T-Spoon, Tari Phillips, Sue Wicks, Rebecca Lobo, and so many others broke barriers and gave little girls and grown women someone to look up to.

I’ve been going to games with my mom since 97, and watching her celebrate her heroes today was unforgettable. These women changed the game and we’ll never stop honoring them.
