I'm just a flamingo mom working to get my pink back. Did you know flamingos lose their pink after having kids? It makes so much sense now. After having Grayson, I stopped prioritizing myself—I was exhausted, had no energy, and couldn't keep up. That's when I knew I needed to make changes, not just for him, but for me.

As much as I love being a mom (and parents, I’m sure you can relate), we give so much that our kids become our whole world, and sometimes we lose a little bit of ourselves. Our identities become just 'mom.' My goal is to find that balance. We can be the best moms and still be the best versions of ourselves. We can take care of ourselves and still take care of our kids. Don’t feel guilty putting yourself first sometimes. I learned that i can go upside down, jump on a trampoline; run again, belly dance, do ballet, poll dance and i can't wait to see what else my body can do. 

I began moving my body, trying new things, and I’m amazed at what my body is capable of. I feel stronger, more confident, and it's not just about size—it’s about trusting my body and being proud of what it can do. I’ve felt confident at different weights, but this time, it's different. I’m listening to my body, celebrating non-scale victories, and proving that I can be it all. I can be a healthy mom who loves her body enough to care for it.
