Confession time!! Let’s see how open we can get!!! I have insecurities! 
Everyone has insecurities! What is your biggest insecurity and how are you working on it?

Let’s talk about it! I’ve always been insecure about my arms. I would always wear things off the shoulder or elbow length just to hide it. It has gotten worse especially after my car accident. I’m constantly doing poses to hide my scar or wearing things to cover it. Just like this picture!! When i go to photo shoots i get so much anxiety and i pray that the outfit they are going to put me in covers it. Even when i was on live tv for Good Day New York i kept my arm up to hide it. I wish i could tell you i am 100% confident and that nothing bothers me.. but i would be lying because it’s a everyday struggle. Last week i wore a tank top to work for the first time. It was a big deal for me since i have never showed my scar to anyone at work. I instantly regretted it. I got at least 5 people who asked me how did i get it.. the others just stared as they spoke to me. It’s a normal reaction which is fine but it’s something i have to get used to. I’ve had my scar for about 2 years now and it’s still a love hate relationship. It tells a story, i am alive and i survived something but it also just gives me something to be self conscious about. I’m working on it. .

This is my truth. What’s yours? Let’s be open. I will always continue to spread body positivity and self love but it’s also important to be aware and work on the not so small things that bother us. It’s ok to feel that way, it’s just important to be open to working on it. .
