Scars remind us that the past is real..
I usually hide my scar with makeup or my hair. I barely wear anything without sleeves. I’m tired of it! I’m tired of being hot, I’m tired of not wearing outfits that i like because they show it.  I have a love hate relationship with it. Sometimes it’s my warrior scar and I’m proud of it. Other days I’m tired of people staring at it when they talk to me. I can’t tell you that i will ever fully embrace it, it’s a journey. I am still learning. .
