This week, our Jazz & Contemporary Trainee concentration upperclassmen found a restorative moment in faculty member Tovi Wayne’s toviwayne yoga class. In the midst of a busy schedule and upcoming performances, the studio became a space to slow down, reset, and reconnect.

Through breath and mindful movement, dancers were able to find moments of stillness and silence, grounding themselves both physically and mentally. It is within these pauses that the body can recover, the mind can settle, and the work can continue with greater clarity and intention.
