Grief is funny. Whenever I think back to the first month we lost Taylor, I remember it all. The tears, the days spent in bed, the people who showed up, the ones who didn’t… I also remember how much I didn’t want to go to The Eras Tour. I was DREADING it. Knowing my best friend’s empty seat next to me was going to be a constant reminder of what was taken from us far too soon. Everyone kept telling me “she’d want you to go!” “she’ll haunt you if you don’t” which is absolutely true, btw.  So I went, and after a long week of Swifties trying to help us get Taylor sing Long Live for us (she didn’t but have no fear, we did get it eventually), they did the sweetest, most beautiful thing for us and got #LongLiveTaylorJenkins trending. We didn’t know it during the show, but leaving RayJay, I got 9000 (not kidding) texts about it, and basically fell to my knees in the parking lot. Knowing our girl was loved on by so many people that didn’t know her… was everything. That same weekend, we had her celebration of life. It felt full circle, since opening night of tour was when we lost Tay.  I went to many (don’t come for me) shows after this one, and every single one I was met with LLTJ bracelets, hugs, and so much love from Swifties. @Taylor Swift you did good sis, you should be SO proud of the fans you have.
