This week, TanenbaumCHAT’s Shinshinim, and Israel Council, alongside Grade 11 student leader Alma G.S., invited our school community to step into a powerful and interactive Yom Hazikaron experience. Students were guided through a deeply moving exhibit to honour the memory of Israel’s fallen heroes and victims of terror as they entered a classroom transformed into a candlelit commemorative space, accompanied by poignant music and an informational timeline tracing key moments throughout Israel’s history. Students were also invited to write and display their personal connections, helping ensure that the memories and legacies of the fallen continue to live on within our community.
