Nothing quite like ripping a mile in Iowa on a Tuesday night 😅

I had so much fun testing my speed & racing the US Road Mile Championships. I ended up running a PR of 4:30.4 (I wish the Strava time were accurate, but unfortunately the quest for sub-4:30 continues 🫡) and placing 6th. 

I definitely finished feeling like I could have run it a little differently, but overall I’m happy. Time to train for a couple weeks, and then take on the US 5k champs 🤗

Congrats to all the amazing athletes that raced the mile, especially graciedhyde and addywiley who will represent the US at world champs! 

And thank you to everyone who cheered and took videos! It was so nice meeting all of you 🫶
