🌅 Doca do Cavacas – Natural lava pools & restaurant, perfect for a sunset swim

🌄 Ponta do Clérigo – Lesser-known lookout spot on the northern side of the island

🌤 Miradouro da Boa Morte – Stunning viewpoint on the underrated west coast

🏘 Ribeira Brava – Cute little town on the south side of the island. Make a reseravation at Muralha Terrace Restaurant for sunset

🌋 Ponta do São Lourenço – Unreal hike on volcanic landscape surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean

🌿 Levada do Caldeirão Verde – Beautiful levada walk through tunnels leading to a 100 m tall waterfall

🏔 Pico do Arieiro & Pico Ruivo – The tallest peaks on Madeira and both must-visits for sunrise & sunset

🎨 Funchal Old Town – Check out Rua de Santa Maria for the cutest street in the town and stop by Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for a local coffee experience

🐬 Dolphin & Whale Watching – Another must-do activity, departing from Funchal (€35 per person)

🛏️ Stay: Base in Funchal for food & city life, and add a few nights in Santana or the west coast for a more rural experience

🚗 Getting Around: Rent a car – some of the roads are steep, but the general highway that takes you around the island is great!

🗓️ When to Visit: Peak seasons are end of April to October + Christmas & New Years. We personally love visiting in March/April and October 🥰
